Gillis, Ramanuj Lahiri, Tanya ParishM. leprae was incubated in medium plus 2 μg/mL rifampicin (RIF) or 100 μg/mL nitazoxanide (NTZ). Viable bacteria were determined after 11 and 25 days using live-dead staining (SYTO 9/propidium iodide). Untreated control contained DMSO only. Results are shown as mean and standard deviation of 3 independent samples.
