We investigate the subsequent career focus of a random sample of 100 of first-named authors (782) of an IS&LS article in 1996 that did not publish any other IS&LS articles in the period 1993 to 2012.
The purpose is to assess whether authors that are apparently unproductive in terms of IS&LS authorship could be productive in other ways.
