King, Nophar GeifmanIn the first step gene expression values are compared between disease and control sample sets, resulting in a disease-derived gene expression signature. Next the disease expression signature is used to query databases of signatures associated with a variety of compounds. Compounds demonstrating an expression signature oppositional (anti-correlating) to that of the disease are suggested as possible therapeutic candidates.
