EGFP-P40 (A) or P40-V₅ (B) were transiently co-expressed with mCherry or mCherry-tagged Ac34 (mC-Ac34) in Sf9 cells by plasmid transfection. Sf9 cells expressing P40-V₅ were co-transfected with vAc34KO^egfp or vAc34KO^ac34. At 48 hpt, the cells were fixed and analyzed by fluorescence microscopy. The arrows pointed to the bacmid-free cells that showed different spatial pattern of P40-V₅ in comparison with the adjacent cells bearing vAc34KO^ac34.
