(A) Ki-67 immunohistochemistry of a KII −/− deficient tumor (compare figure 5 from the same series of serial sections). (B) Formal analysis of 6 areas per lung of six Keratin wild-type and KII −/− tumors reveals similar Ki-67 proliferation index. Cleaved caspase 3 staining only showed single positive cells (red arrow) in in Keratin deficient (−/−) and Keratin expressing tumors (KII).
