D2O Adapted Yeast grown on normal YPD agar media
Description
Attached is an image of wt yeast and D2O adapted yeast grown on normal YPD agar plates (commericial, see below). The yeast was incubated for 24 hours at 30C. Note that the D2O adapted yeast seems to exhibit more growth compared to the growth wt yeast. The D2O adapted yeast was adapted from wt yeast over a period of 48 days in liquid YPD made with 99.9% D2O instead of DI water.
