These are deidentified data from the Bangladesh Interruption of Secondary Transmission of Influenza Study (BISTIS), a randomized controlled trial conducted in Kishoregonj, Bangladesh, to investigate the effects of intensive handwashing promotion on transmission of influenza and influenza-like illness among household members.
