Abscess sizes were determined on days 3, 5, 7 and 10 post infection using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Abscesses are shown in red circles. Significance was established using an unpaired t test. p-values were calculated relative to control (clone B2p). *p < 0.05, **p < 0.005, ***p < 0.001, ****p < 0.0001.
