Minimal data set for Tan & Poggio (2016). This dataset consists of the following 6 Matlab data files (.mat), which contain the processed outputs (i.e. hit-rates, accuracies, etc.) of the model system and methods described in the paper.

"Fig1_CFE_large.mat"

This file contains the hit-rates from 1000 bootstrap trials/resamples using model features with LARGE TUNING SIZE. The hit-rates for the aligned and misaligned conditions are contained in the "hitrates_aligned" and "hitrates_misaligned" variables respectively.

"Fig1_CFE_small.mat"

This file contains the hit-rates from 1000 bootstrap trials/resamples using model features with SMALL TUNING SIZE. The hit-rates for the aligned and misaligned conditions are contained in the "hitrates_aligned" and "hitrates_misaligned" variables respectively.

"Fig1_CFE_large_indiv.mat"

This file contains the hit-rates using 1000 model features  with LARGE TUNING SIZE individually (NOT bootstrap trials). The hit-rates for the aligned and misaligned conditions are contained in the "hitrates_aligned" and "hitrates_misaligned" variables respectively.

"Fig2_FIE_dissim.mat"

This file contains the dissimilarities (euclidean distances) from 10000 bootstrap trials/resamples using model features. The 6 variables in this file contain the dissimilarities from all 6 combinations of tuning size (SMALL/MEDIUM/LARGE) and orientation (UPRIGHT/INVERTED).

"Fig2_FIE_resp.mat"

This file contains the raw model responses for all 6 combinations of tuning size (SMALL/MEDIUM/LARGE) and orientation (UPRIGHT/INVERTED).

"Fig3_WPE.mat"

This file contains the accuracies for all 4 combinations of tuning size (SMALL/LARGE) and condition (PART/WHOLE) from 1000 bootstrap trials/resamples.
