The Catalogue of Edible plants of Colombia contains detailed information on the Colombian edible flora, based on the Catalogue of Useful Plants of Colombia. In addition to taxonomic classification of the species (in line with POWO, GBIF and Tropicos taxonomic backbones) the dataset includes information on species habit, origin, elevation, conservation status and cultivation status.

In two separated tables, we display species richness of Colombian edible plants per family and per genera.

Finally, the "SR_WE_CWE" figure displays three types of biodiversity measurements for Colombian edible plants: Species Richness (SR), Weighted Endemism (WE) and Corrected Weighted Endemism (CWE). Images A, B and C show, respectively, the SR, WE and CWE per species; Images D, E, F show the SR, WE and CWE per family; Images G, H, I show the SR, WE and CWE per genera.
