Video S2. Chase and attack

Chase and attack, related to Figure 1B, C. Similarly to Video S1, Female C45 started to chase C58 alone. That being without success, C45 then approached C59 having her crown feathers raised. C59 reacted with several calls accompanied by bowing and tail-fanning. The two birds repeated the display. Next, the birds got into position, focalizing their victim C58. C58 flew up and C45 initiated the chase by a sharp call. The two aggressors pursued the victim from alternating positions at opposite ends of the aviary and finally C45 got hold of the victim and C59 joined attacking C58.
