Source Data for the manuscript: Bumblebees flexibly adjust learning and decision strategies to sensory information content in a multi-cue foraging task
The data is split into separate groups:
1) Spectral measurements and calculations of colour stimuli:
2) .csv files with learningCurves of animals in all conditions, organised in blocks (fraction of correct choices, out of 5 correct and as many uncorrect choices as were made to obtain 5 correct ones). The suffix _col denotes training in single attribute conditions, the suffic _shape denotes all experiments with cue combinations in which shapes were used, and no suffix contains all experiments with cue combinations in which patterns were used. The respective colours in the cue combination experiments are provided in the title of the files.
3) .csv conflictChoices contain the choices for either colour or pattern / shape attributes in the conflict tests, as well as the second attribute in the second test. The suffix _single denotes training in single attribute conditions, the suffic _shape denotes all experiments with cue combinations in which shapes were used, and no suffix contains all experiments with cue combinations in which patterns were used. In the single conditions, no conflict tests were performed, but simple tests with one attribute, though following the same methodology.
3) .csv naiveChoices contain the choices for one of the two combinations of colour and shape / pattern in the naive tests, or either colour or type of shape / pattern in the single attribute tests. The suffix _single denotes training in single attribute conditions, the suffic _shape denotes all experiments with cue combinations in which shapes were used, and no suffix contains all experiments with cue combinations in which patterns were used.
