These slides were made and compiled by Joana Leitao from the Computational Cognitive Neuroimaging group from the University of Birmingham (UK).

They cover some of the basic mathematical concepts necessary to understand fMRI analysis:
- basic linear algebra
- the ordinary least square solution of the general linear model
- convolution and the brain as a linear time invariant system
- examples of typical design matrices (t-test, ANOVA...)

Over the years we have found them very useful and wanted to put them there hoping they could help others.
