On the Impact of Lower Recall and Precision in Defect Prediction for Guiding Search-Based Software Testing

We study the impact of imprecision in defect prediction on the bug detection effectiveness of search-based software testing (SBST). This package is created to support the research community to extend, reproduce and replicate our study in the future. It includes the following artefacts created as part of this research; i) source code and executable of SBST guided by DP, ii) defect predictor simulator and the ground truth labels used, iii) scripts to run experiments, iv) post processing scripts and v) the results generated.
