Several reports have shown that assessment of intestinal blood flow using indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence imaging is useful in ischemic bowel disease. One potential strength of this technique is that it makes blood flow visible. Here, we report a successful case of preservation of an ischemic intestinal segment based on the gap between macroscopic findings and assessment using ICG fluorescence imaging.
