pv.
tomato (Pst) including HopA1,
HopAI1, HopAF1, AvrPto, and HopM1. 1,170 pairwise kinase–effector (K-E) interactions
were tested in tomato protoplasts using the split luciferase complementation
assay (SLCA) where luciferase activity indicates reconstitution of the
N-terminal and C-terminal domains of the enzyme fused to interacting bait or
prey proteins.
