Toxoplasma gondii is a protozon parasite that is mostly important for pregnant women or immune suppressed patients There are two main problems about this parasite 1) diagnosing the acute infection in pregnant women 2) protection of women from acute infection. Bıth of these issues can be overcome by the use of some antigenic proteins specific for acute infection. This study addresses the possible bottleneck in selection of antigenic proteins by the use of a high throughput protein microarrayscreening approach using samples derived from a comprehensive experimental murine model for the first time.
