A Nest Integration as a Novel Form of Food Acquisition in Red-winged Blackbirds (Agelaius phoeniceus). This video shows a neighboring fledgling integrating itself into a different nest than the one it was raised in. The chick then proceeds to be fed by the provisioning adults. This was a nest in Kennekuk County Park in central Illinois, on 31 May, 2022.
