Scale validation conducting Confirmatory Factor Analysis: A Monte Carlo simulation study with LISREL
The main files contain the complete LISREL output in two files, one for Maximum Likelihood or ML estimation and the other for Unweighted Least Squares or ULS estimation (parameter estimates, standard errors and goodness-of-fit measures). For comparison reasons, ML parameter estimates are standardized.
SUPPLEMENTARY FILES:
1) Supplementary Examples.pdf. This file contains PRELIS and LISREL syntax examples.
2) Unstandardized_parameters_ML (SPSS/Excel). These files contain the unstandardized parameter estimates .
3) Continuous_data_INFORMATION.pdf. This file contains general information and instructions to perform data simulation with the PRELIS program and CFA model estimation with the LISREL program.
4) RAW DATASETS (SPSS/Excel): from N200L020 to N500L040. These raw dataset contain simulated sample data from all experimental conditions. The name of each file has two parts. The letter "N" denotes the sample size used to generate the data collected by each file (N200, N300, N400, and N500), and L020, L030, and L040 denote the simulated factor loading magnitude.
