Here we tested whether Australian tropical rainforest
species can adjust as well to warming as species from sub-tropical and warm-temperate rainforests.

Photosynthesis and respiration temperature responses were quantified in seedlings of six Australian rainforest species of tropical, subtropical and warm-temperate
climates grown across four growth temperatures in a greenhouse. Temperature response models were fitted to identify mechanisms underpinning the response to
warming.
