Original kinematic and dynamic data during symmetric grounded running and running obtained on a track at the Suo Monkey Performance Association (Kumamoto, Japan), Japan.

So far based on this data we could show, that the animals did not walk but preferred to use as gaits grounded running, skipping, and aerial running. Grounded running is preferred to walking due to the lower leg compliance.

Further data processing with the focus on kinematics, skipping, and irregular locomotion is on the way.
