Re-assemble and re-annotate of Folsomia candida using public sequencing data

Folsomia candida is a standard model organism for soil ecology especially ecotoxicology. A high-quality reference genome will provide a solid genetic basis for the understanding of molecular mechanisms and physiological functions in adaptations to environmental change, as well as evolutionary biology. The public annotation of protein-coding genes seems to be much more than other collembolans and relatively low BUSCO completeness. We re-assembled its genome with higher contiguity. New protein-coding gene annotation has much higher completeness.
