Lake Sturgeon Transcriptomes

Published on by Matt Thorstensen
Thirteen tissue specific transcriptomes for lake sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens) were assembled with Trinity and annotated with Trinotate. RNA was sequenced with an Illumina Novaseq6000 at the Génome Québec Innovation Centre sequencing facility. The thirteen tissues are: brain, gill, head kidney, heart, liver, white muscle, esophagus, glandular stomach (proximal stomach), muscular stomach (distal stomach), anterior intestine, spiral valve, pyloric caecum, and rectum. These transcriptomes are a work in progress.
