EMPIRE (EMpirical Publication Impact and Reach Evaluation) Index

The EMPIRE Index uses article-level metrics to provide an assessment of the type of influence relevant to different stakeholders. Simple to interpret, it provides richer information than other commonly used metrics such as the Altmetric Attention Score (AAS) or Journal Impact Factor.
