#Description of synteny figures Each file contains syntenies of the respecive ARG locus in different genomes. DISCLAIMER: The results of the automated pipeline should always be manually curated before drawing conclusions! Some genes are present in up to two synteny figures - This is due to issues with the nomenclature, were genes that are closely related have been assigned different names - e.g blaACT - blaMIR, qnrB variants-qnrE, blaCMY-1-blaMOX To reduce the number of genomes displayed in the figure, genomes are clustered by sequence identity as described in the aterials and method section of the article, only the 'centroid' is shown in the figure. The number to the right of each sequence indicate the number of members each cluster contains. Genes associated with transposition are displayed in purple, ARGs in red, plasmid associated genes in green, integron associated genes in yellow, hypothetical proteins in grey and genes with other putative functions in orange.
