Global ecosystem thresholds driven by aridity. Science .... " There is one folder with the database (6 files), and another with the bootstrapped parameters of the regressions presented in Fig. S2. Database have 6 files: AllTraitslong.csv contains the set of data for Photosynthesis (Aarea) and LeafN (Narea) traits used from Maire et al. and Wang et al. BIOCOM.csv contains variables Species rihness (SR), soil aggregation (MWD), plant-plant interactions (Ratiow), plant effects on soil (deltaOC) and specific leaf area (CWM_logSLA) Fungi_RelAb.csv contains relative abundance of fungi functional types GlobalMaps2.csv contains latitude and longitude ofsites used in global variables (extracted form maps or from remote sensing). Data are not shown as they do not belong to us and need to be extracted as explained in the methods of the paper. Micro_Abundance.csv contains abundance of fungi and bacteria. OCCrossV.csv contains information of a merged database for soil carbon of the soil meassured in the field. Bootstrapped parameters all have the same structure, showing the slope, intercept of linear regressions at both sides of the threshold as well as the value of the variable exactly estimated for the threshold value. Another file called "threshold final2" contains bootstrapped thresholds presented in Figure 1. There are also two files with the necessary code to generate figures and perform analyses in R code. All the methodological details can be found in the article.
