#### S1 #### Raw-data of task 1 (Fig1B). Corresponds to data presented in Fig2. "bird": 1 = crow C, 2 = crow E, 3 = crow Y "type": 1 = Go trial, 2 = Catch trial "wait_on" / "wait_off": start / end of waiting period "go_on" / "go_off": start / end of the go cue "reponse": 1 = Hit, 2 = Correct rejection, 3 = False alarm, 8 = Miss "rt_corrected" refers to the fact that we corrected the rejection times for the time between vocalisation and detection by the vocal detector. All other variables are derivatives of the above. #### S1a #### These are the manually scored times the vocal detector was delayed in relation to the actual vocalization. They were obtained from a audio recording of that session (sampled with 44kHz) combined with a short burst indicating the time the vocal detector had detected the vocalization. "bird": 1 = crow C, 2 = crow E, 3 = crow Y "vocal": this is not the absolute vocalization number of a given day, but rather the number of the vocalization of the time period that was analysed. Capped at 10. Time periods were choosen randomly. "endinms": end of a vocalization as recorded manually by the experimenter from the audio file. "detinms": time the vocal detector recorded a vocalization "startinms": beginning of the vocalization as recorded manually All other variables are derivatives of the above. Note "." should be read as "-". #### S2 #### Raw-data of task 2 (Fig3A). Corresponds to data presented in Fig3. Note that this data was collected using the Plexon system (40kHz). "bird": 1 = crow E, 2 = crow Y "type": 1 = Go trial, 2 = Catch trial, 3 = nogo-trial "wait_on" / "wait_off": start / end of waiting period "go_on" / "go_off": start / end of the go cue "reponse": 1 = Hit, 2 = Correct rejection, 3 = False alarm, 8 = Miss "vocdet": whether a vocalisation was detected by the vocal detector, NA corresponds to a miss "vocstart" and "vocdet": vocalization start and end in relation to the moment plexon received a signal from the vocal detector; was determined offline and manually by JM "go_on_pl": start of the trial as recorded by plexon in ms. "valid": whether or not Plexon correctly recorded (was checked offline and manually by JM) the responsed. If 0: response was not counted, and trial dismissd. All other variables are derivatives of the above. #### S3 #### Vocalizations recorded with Plexon (40kHz) in April 2019, corresponds to data presented in Fig4. "bird": 1 = crow E, 2 = crow Y "start" / "end": Start / end of the vocalization respectively "type": 1 = cued vocalization, 2 = task-unrelated vocalization "peakfreq": Peak-Frequency of the vocalization, calculated as with the R package "seewave" "we": Wiener Entropy calculated as geometric mean of the spectral density function (calculated with "seewave") divided by the mean of the spectral density function "logwe": logorithmic of Wiener Entropy #### A1-A3 #### Audiofiles of the vocalizations of crow C, E, and Y, respectively, from one session for each bird. #### S4-S6 #### Supplementary data for each bird's vocalization file. "start": start of the vocalization in samples "end": end of the vocalization in samples "type": 1 = cued vocalization, 2 = task-unrelated vocalization
