MeisnerFieldDataAnalyses.R contain R computer code for estimating the population growth rate of aphids and parasitism rates from three years of field data (Eq. 1, Fig. 1); MeisnerFieldData.txt contains the corresponding data. MeisnerLongtermCageFitting.m is matlab computer code for fitting the data from the long-term cage experiments (Eqs. 2–9, Fig. 3) using a nonlinear state-space model; the program meisnerfigfunct_20Aug13.m is a dependent, and MeisnerLongtermCageData.txt contains the data.
