<p>This project presents a systematic mapping of literature on integrating digital technologies in teaching intercultural competencies in higher education, following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. In a globalised educational context, these competences are essential for students to interact effectively in multicultural environments, while digital tools revolutionise traditional pedagogical approaches.</p>

<p>We analyzed scientific production between 2005 and 2024, extracted from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and SciELO. Twenty-three open-access, peer-reviewed studies in English/Spanish were included, after filtering 176 initial records. </p>
<p><br></p>
<p>Digital technologies demonstrate great potential for fostering intercultural competences, but their implementation requires overcoming structural, pedagogical and equity gaps. This study provides a basis for future policy and research towards inclusive and sustainable intercultural education. </p>
