Data from various experiments done to (1) validate a synthetic DNA sequence encoding T2A ribosome skip protein sequence in cells and in mice and (2) optimize T2A-iCreERT2 expression.

2A ribosome skip sequence selection: tests of T2A and P2A in 293 cells using Histone H2B (a nuclear protein) and tdTomato fusion.

LRIG1 and CDK6 expression in the lateral ventricular walls: tests of T2A in a single-copy knock-in mice using LRIG1 (a membraneous protein) and tdTomato fusion and CDK6 (a cytosolic protein) and td-sfGFP fusion.

Synthetic introns: test of T2A in single-copy Rosa26 knock-in mice using TOMM20 fragment (a mitochondrial protein) and tdTomato fusion.

T2A-iCreERT2 variants: an atttempt to optimize iCreERT2 expression using the T2A system.
