Hybrid instrument evaluations
Posted on 2017-03-20 - 15:58 authored by Kurijn Buys
These sounds are produced by the hybrid wind instrument with several
excitation models and by an entirely simulated version of the instrument. The excitation parameters are varied so as to evaluate both attack and
sustained sounds over the stable operation range of the hybrid
instrument.
These results are discussed in depth in my thesis on the development and evaluation of the hybrid wind instrument.
