Health Workforce Academy (HWA) Virtual Conference 2022. What’s Next – Planning for the Future
The 2022 Virtual Health Workforce Academy (HWA) Conference brings together RhD candidates, researchers, academics, industry partners to discuss and present emerging health workforce research.
The theme for the 2022 Conference was ‘What’s Next: Planning for the Future.’ Presentations and discussions were centred around the following five themes and provided an opportunity for researchers to present their research on health workforce and share their findings, provide recommendations, potential impact, and directions for developing the health workforce.
Themes included:
1. Health Professional Education
2. Quality Nursing Care
3. Patients and Consumers
4. Indigenous and CALD Health
5. Aged Care
The conference also provided an opportunity for delegates to meet and network with people over a virtual dinner, build collaborations with four international universities that participated, partake in masterclasses, and engage in a hybrid keynote + workshops delivered by esteemed members of the research community.
