I am a photographer, participatory project practitioner and academic, specialising in creating meaningful narratives about humanitarian and environmental issues through photography, video and text.
I’ve led a led a range of award-winning international research projects, with policy impact at a national level. I work collaboratively with marginalised groups and communities in post-conflict settings, and regions impacted by climate change (including Rwanda, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Bangladesh, Burundi and Morocco). Through these projects I’ve amassed specialist expertise in developing creative processes that explore the roots of issues that impact communities.
My publications range from The Economist and The Independent to Italian Vogue, and the Lancet. Exhibitions include solo shows in Westminster and Rwanda, and the Taylor Wessing Photo prize at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
