Tom Dickins

Professor (Behavioural ecology)

London, U.K.

Currently I am Professor of Behavioural Science at Middlesex University, London, U.K. (Figshare does not have a category for that, so my job title is a little erroneous above - but read on.) I have a background in psychological sciences, philosophy of science, evolutionary behavioural science and ecological survey techniques. Much of my work has been theoretical - looking at the applications of evolutionary theory to behavioural science as well as at the details of various positions within evolutionary biology. My empirical work has mostly been within behavioural ecology, initially focusing upon humans but now more on avian models. In particular I am working upon Kittiwakes (Rissa tridactyla) and urban gull populations. To find out more please visit: https://sites.google.com/view/tomdickins/home
