Thomas Gee

I am a Associate Professor and programme leader of BSc (Hons) Strength and Conditioning in Sport. I gained my PhD from Northumbria University, which was titled ‘Recovery of Muscle Function following Strength Training in Rowers’. My research interests include the acute and longitudinal effects of strength training on performance, longitudinal fitness profiling of international age group basketball players and weight cutting practices of combat and strength athletes. I am coordinator of the University of Lincoln Sport Scholarship programme and I actively provide strength and conditioning support to athletes based at the University. I am a Senior Fellow (D3), a IUSCA Master International Strength and Conditioning Practitioner, a UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach and a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
