Introduction
As a physician specializing in internal medicine, environmental health risk, and metal toxicology, I am committed to improving the accuracy, reliability, and sensitivity of methods for detecting chronic metal exposure in patients. My research on the relationships between acute and medium-term environmental particulate matter exposure and trends in metal burdens within our patient population aims to enhance our understanding and mitigation of environmental health risks. This interdisciplinary approach presents a captivating challenge.
