Dr Alkaabi investigated device handover strategies for Multi-access Edge Computing and mobile edge networks. She developed and validated a handover algorithm and lightweight protocol to enhance service continuity in high-mobility networks. The research outcomes support real-time applications through efficient server selection and stateless communication.
