Rick Doble

Rick Doble is both a writer and a visual artist. He is the author of the book: Experimental Digital Photography (Lark Books/Sterling Publishing, New York/London, 2010) now in its second printing. It is the first book about experimenting with photographic effects with digital photography. He has written two other books on digital photography as well. He has been a professional photographer for 40 years and has a Master's Degree in Communications (1974) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He taught photography for over 15 years. He has owned a digital camera since 1998. He went online with his own website in 1997: www.rickdoble.net He graduated from UNC with an B.A.in English with an Honors in writing.
