Philip Whiting

Dr Philip Whiting FDIA MCSD is an expert in the development and application of Design Thinking methodology. His work includes Design Research for development of sustainable Business Strategy. His research also looks at 3D branding for the retail industry including manufacturing, products and environments and the impact upon consumer behaviour. Originally based in the UK as a consultant designer to Loughborough University, Institute for Consumer Ergonomics, clients have included The Boots Company, Marks & Spencer, Golden Wonder, Riker/3M, Volvo and Shell. Based in Australia since 1991, Philip works with business consultancy groups, retail and manufacturing operations as well as major retail shopping centre developments. In 2013 he established ZEROPLUS to assist business to navigate a radically changing and volatile business climate. ZEROPLUS works with the business sector through specialised research workshops that focus on the application of design thinking.
