PhD Balance is a community creating space for academics to learn from shared experiences.
We want graduate students to be able to openly discuss and get help for difficult situations, from navigating academia to dealing with mental health struggles. We need a new space to create resources and connect with others; a space where people can choose to be anonymous and feel safer. PhD Balance is that space.
We offer resources from webinars to monthly challenges, from worksheets to guides on talking with advisors. We also have our own Discord Server for grad students to discuss common, or uncommon, adversity and hurdles, where we host regular themed conversations, co-working from home and coffee breaks to help foster community.
