Nilo Serpa is architect, theoretical physicist and information technologist. He worked as systems analyst and information analyst at the Ministry of Health, Brazil, and as development manager, special project manager and information technology consultant at the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Brazil. He has extensive experience in physics (general theory of particles and fields, thermodynamics and gravitation), developing research on gravitational waves, gravitational lenses, cosmology, geophysics, supergravity, quantum gravity and quantum computing. In his post-doctoral work at CBPF (Brazilian abbreviation for Brazilian Center for Physics Research), with free teaching, he developed original ideas in supergravity and gauge theories.
