Nicole Kearney

Nicole Kearney manages the Australian component of the Biodiversity Heritage Library, the world’s largest online repository of archival materials relating to biodiversity. She began her career as a zoologist and science communicator and has worked in a variety of educational and cultural institutions in Australia and overseas. She has worked in Museum Victoria’s Digital Life Department since 2012, producing and curating content for apps, websites and online exhibits. She now assists museums and herbaria around Australia to discover and digitise their collections, and to share these treasures with the world.
