Myat Myintzu Maung Maung is pursuing a Master of Engineering Project Management at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. She possesses a CIDESCO International Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetics from Aesthetics International Academy in Singapore and earned her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Australia. Hailing from Myanmar and residing in Singapore for over ten years, Myintzu combines her academic and personal interests in engineering, cultural heritage, and sustainable beauty practices. Her research focuses on ethnobotanical skincare, traditional cosmetic science, and the incorporation of natural ingredients into contemporary wellness products. In her thesis, "Magischer Baum (aka) Tha-na-ka," she investigates the iconic tree bark paste of Myanmar through both scientific and cultural perspectives, highlighting its viability as a sustainable cosmeceutical.
