Lauren is an ESRC-funded PhD researcher in the Department of Computer and Information Studies at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. I am a founding member of the public libraries advocacy group Voices for the Library and a member of the Radical Librarians Collective. Her research interests include public libraries, school libraries, critical theory, critical pedagogy, information literacy, political engagement, hate speech and social media.
