VP Research Evaluation and Global Challenges

London, UK

A Molecular Biologist & Biochemist by training, I grew into project management and strategy in Industry and Higher Education. In the newly formed Thought Leadership team at Digital Science, I expand the range of activities into the areas of research evaluation and global challenges. I bring in my experience from my previous role leading the consultancy team supporting research institutions, funders, governments and other institutions with research capabilities to make more and better use of data to inform their strategies and decisions. Before joining Digital Science, I headed the Research Information team at the Research Strategy Office at the University of Cambridge with responsibilities for activities in research evaluation and reporting as well as managing and implementing software tools for Academics and Administrators (Symplectic, Altmetric, Dimensions, Research Professional, ORCID) and provision of analysis (including network and collaboration analysis) for Collegiate Cambridg
