João G. Nizer Rahmeier is currently pursuing a PhD with Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada. His research interests include modeling and simulation of NML circuits, theoretical electromagnetism, microwave engineering, and numerical methods for simulating nonlinear metasurfaces. Nizer Rahmeier has a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Pampa, Alegrete, Brazil (2016) and a master’s in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil (2018). He is a member of the Meta-materials & Antenna Research Squad (MARS).
