I help organizations and emerging innovators tackle the complexities of next-generation technology—particularly AI and data science—responsibly and effectively, while cultivating future leaders who can co-create impactful solutions.
I am an experienced innovation strategist, research and project leader, and data scientist who recently graduated from UC San Diego’s Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute. Over the past decade, I have served in startup, academic, and industry roles—guiding interdisciplinary teams, developing data-driven strategies, and leading cross -functional & -cultural teams towards innovation.
My background includes leading R&D initiatives within a HealthTech setting for underserved populations, managing complex pilot programs, and overseeing interdisciplinary research as Lab Manager at the Orthogonal Research & Education Lab. I also founded JOPRO, an incubator dedicated to mentoring future-oriented projects and early-career researchers and innovators, with an emphasis on human-centered AI. Through these experiences, I’ve sharpened my ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights, build cohesive teams, and ensure projects align with broader organizational and societal objectives.
I am passionate about data ethics, research leadership, and applied data science—particularly in contexts that integrate technology, mental health, and underserved communities. My work has also involved extensive communication and outreach, including writing, speaking, and facilitating dialogues on emerging frontiers in AI, cognition and innovation strategy.
Above all, I believe collaboration and constructive yet challenging communities are key to addressing the challenges of our time. By bringing together rigorous data science, strategic foresight, and ethical stewardship, we can drive meaningful progress that constructs legitimate pathways to more desirable futures. I welcome opportunities to consult, partner, or lead initiatives that align with these values and ambitions.
