Homa Hamayeli is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of biology in the Alzahra University of Tehran, Iran. Her main research interest is in medical microbiology. She is particularly interested in issues concerning biofilm, marine microbiology, and antimicrobial activity. She and Dr. Mehdi Hassan Shahian are authors of the book Microbial Toxicology.
