Guita Hourani

Dr. Guita G. Hourani is an expert in migration, citizenship, labor, fieldwork research, report writing among others. She has a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Global Studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Tokyo, Japan. She is presently a Fellow with the Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity, and Welfare in Sweden; Co-Founder and Advisory Board Chair of Oghma Group International; an Expert on Citizenship with the European Union Democracy Observatory on Citizenship, European University Institute, Italy; Consultant with the Lebanese Development Network, Lebanon; Co-Founder and Secretary-General of the International Campaign of the Lebanon Dialogue Initiative; a Fellow of Women in Conflict 1325 of the UN Security Council Resolution, Beyond Boarders, Scotland; and a Fellow of the US Department of State-sponsored MEPI’s Civic Education and Leadership Fellowship, US. She was a Country of Origin Information Expert on Lebanon for the Rights in Exile Programme, England.
