Associate Professor at the Federal University of Southern and Southeastern Pará (Unifesspa), working at the Faculty of Economics (FACE/Unifesspa) and in the Postgraduate Program in Planning and Regional and Urban Development in the Amazon (PPGPAM/Unifesspa). He is the Vice-Director of PPGPAM/Unifesspa for the term 2023-2024. He previously served as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Agrarian and Regional Development (IEDAR/Unifesspa) from 2017 to 2020 and as the General Director of IEDAR in 2020. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the State University of Feira de Santana - UEFS (2010), a master's degree (2012), and a Ph.D. (2017) in Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS. He is the coordinator of the Laboratory of Regional Accounts of the Amazon (Lacam), a researcher in the Political Economy Research Group (GPEP), and the director of the Brazilian Society of Political Economy (SEP).
